The winner will represent Nigeria in the 2010 Miss World competition, win 3 million naira, and drive away with a brand new car. The second-runner up will represent Nigeria in the Miss Tourism Queen International beauty pageant and win 1 million naira.

After a rigorous screening exercise, thirty delegates have emerged for this year's most beautiful girl in Nigeria pageant billed for the 22nd of this month in Lagos. They were drawn from over three hopefuls from the zonal screening which held in Benin, Port-Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos.

The judges were looking for certain criteria which included skin texture, face, poise, diction, intelligence, amongst others.

The contestants selected for this year's MBGN were over whelmed with joy and spoke about their expectations to our correspondent.

The 30 contestants for MBGN 2010 are due for camp on the 12th of this month for further grooming ahead of the competition which holds on the 22nd of May at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos. 

The organizers of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigerian Pageantry has fixed and announced the Screening date and locations for this year event. Details can be found below:
